A degree in Biological Sciences with a pre-occupational therapy concentration prepares students for admission to graduate programs in occupational therapy and related health fields. The curriculum emphasizes a strong foundation in the biological sciences, human anatomy and physiology, and the physical and behavioral sciences that support therapeutic practice.
Program Requirements:
- Completion of the Bonaventure Program and requirements for undergraduate degrees.
- The student needs a minimum of 39 semester hours at the 300-400 level (all courses) to receive a degree.
- PHI 323 - EW: Bioethics is strongly recommended.
- Internships with local occupational therapists are strongly recommended.
- Students need a Cumulative Major GPA of 2.0 and no more than 2 major courses below a C to receive a degree. Major courses are all courses listed in section G of the degree checklist.
