Biological Sciences, BS

A degree in Biological Sciences prepares students for a wide range of careers in science, healthcare, research, and related fields. Graduates develop strong analytical, laboratory, and problem-solving skills applicable to diverse professional paths and areas of graduate study.

Program Requirements:

  1. Completion of the Bonaventure Program and requirements for undergraduate degrees.
  2. 17 hours of Biology (BIO) at the 200-400 level of which only three courses may be at the 200-level.
  3. The student needs a minimum of 39 semester hours at the 300-400 level (all courses) to receive a degree.
  4. PHI 323 - EW: Bioethics  is strongly recommended.
  5. Students need a Cumulative Major GPA of 2.0 and no more than 2 major courses below a C to receive a degree. Major courses are all courses listed in section G of the degree checklist.
