TRS 349 - Theology of Death

This course explores the mystery of death in light of Christian faith. Students examine cultural and religious views of death and burial, reflect on the relationship between death and the meaning of life, and study Christian teachings on the “last things”, including judgement, hell, and heaven. Scripture, literature, and the writings of saints and theologians guide reflection on death, grief, and Christian hope.
