Advanced Placement Opportunity:

CLEP examinations are available in College Algebra; however, credit by examination in these introductory courses does not necessarily fulfill entrance requirements for advanced mathematics courses. Therefore, students should consult with the Dean of Science & Technology for proper placement.

Program Requirements:

Completion of the Bonaventure Program and requirements for undergraduate degrees.
Students must take either PHY 223 - Principles of Physics I or PHY 211 - Fundamentals of Physics I to fulfill their Bonaventure Program requirement in the physical sciences. PHY 223 is the preferred course.
Students need a Cumulative Major GPA of 2.0 and no more than 2 major courses below a C to receive a degree. Major courses are all courses listed in section G of the degree checklist.

and 6 additional hours of electives at the 200-400 level.

Note:

MAT 440 is strongly recommended for students intending to pursue graduate work.
