Historically, business studies have been an integral part of the academic program of Quincy University since 1867. This predates the introduction of Business Studies at many of our nation’s major colleges and universities. It is particularly significant in light of Quincy University’s long-standing liberal arts tradition. From the rudimentary courses first offered in 1867, the Oakley School of Business program has evolved into a rigorous and challenging academic discipline, attracting a significant share of Quincy University students.
The stated purpose of the Oakley School of Business program today is to deliver an educational experience that, while academically excellent, also prepares the student for a successful career in the practical world of business.
