DMS 403 - Vascular I

This course provides a study of vascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and wave form analysis. Emphasis will be placed on carotid duplex color flow imaging, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex/color flow imaging, and ankle brachial indices. Focus will also be placed on the treatment of vascular disease, clinical history, and appropriate scanning protocols.
Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of all 300-level DMS courses, Pathophysiology
