SOC 330 - Social Research Methods

Research methods for social scientists, focusing especially on the construction and analysis of surveys, including construction of scales. Includes instruction on introductory statistics designed to promote understanding of basic statistical topics. Such topics include descriptive statistics, correlations and regression, chance variability and sampling, and tests of significance. Instruction in the use of statistical computer software is included. No prerequisites.
