An exploration of the Linux operating system This course covers the basics of systems programming in a UNIX environment. Topics include files and directories, memory management, process control, signals, inter-process communication (IPC), and socket-based network programming. Shell programming will be introduced. Prerequisite(s): CSC 115 and CSC 150
