BIO 232 - Microbiology 3 Credit(s)
This course acquaints the students with microorganisms and their activities. Topics include cell structure and function, metabolism, growth, the role of microorganisms in disease and immunity, and other selected areas. The laboratory will stress aseptic technique, culturing methods, control of microbial growth and unknown identification. Two lecture periods, three hours laboratory. Prerequisite(s): BIO 150 and BIO 151 .
